Two things really irritate me about a video with a contemporary date such as this — the lack of accompanying tablature, and the lack of a really concise theoretical background. The time for that style of video was the dawn of the shred era and VHS…not now when Shred is a well documented art form and we have the technology to make comprehensive products with a minimum of extra effort. As with many LL products this weighs in at a healthy two hours — some of this is no doubt a product of the lack of accompanying tablature — but mostly this is down to the amount of material which is included. The demonstrations are concise and well explained, the camera work is clear including split screen format which is essential with some of the more convoluted licks and the audio quality is first rate….
