Description:Upon first listen, I knew that it wasn't Enigma would never attempt something so overtly worldly as the tabla introduction and extended guerro middle eight , but I appreciated the global fusion of medieval and tribal elements nevertheless. However, Temple of Love is not merely composed of quietly bouncy numbers. Still, it's the joint shortest track on the album and can be skipped over or ignored entirely easily enough. The title track opens with rolling Gregorian chants before adding in a beat that's familiarly reminiscient of Enigma's "Sadeness" and polishing it off with enough bells and whistles to persuade anyone still on the fence that this is, indeed, a tribute. For those perturbed by the slightly unfortunate moniker, the album is also produced professionally enough to shake off any unwilling Zion rave comparisons from The Matrix Reloaded the earlier descriptions certainly brought the 'We're all going to die so let's have an orgy' scene to my mind.
